My name is Jonathan Winbush a multi award winning motion graphics artist originally from Pittsburgh, PA but has been working professionally on television shows, feature films, and immersive tech in southern California since 2006. Over my career I have done work for Epic Games, Marvel, Warner Bros, & Happy Madison to name a few. Notable works include Iron Man 1, Lego Batman 2, Transformers, NFL on FOX, Power Rangers, Fantastic Four, Deadliest Catch and My Little Pony.
As an artist that likes to give back to the community I started a YouTube channel a few years back where every week I do free tutorials spreading my knowledge using tools such as Cinema 4D, After Effects, & Unreal Engine. I also speak at various conferences around the world doing workshops and talks about motion graphics and the work I do. Conferences I’ve spoke at include Adobe Max, NAB, VeeR VR China, AT & T, GDC, CES, and Siggraph.
Through out my career I’ve always given each and every job 100% of my full effort and have in result have won multi awards around the world including Bafta, Promax, Vega, Tellys, VR Fest, Global Trends, Muse, and Pixie awards. I’ve also had several Virtual Reality projects featured at Cannes film festival back to back years. I’ve also had the pleasure of being published in magazines such as Computer Arts, Advanced Photoshop, Voyage LA, and Digital Art Live UK Magazine.
Most recently I was accepted onto SuperRare where I plan to start releasing crypto art. I see this as a great opportunity to explore and experiment with my art style where I traditionally wouldn’t be able to when working on established IPs.
